Answer:

(-1,-2)

Explanation:

Think of the line y=x as a mirror. The image of the point (1,2) is obtained by drawing a line through (1,2) perpendicular to the line y=x and finding the point on the perpendicular line that is equal distance from the line y=x but on the other side. This gets you to the point (2,1).

Similarly, from (2,1) find the mirror image using the line y=-x as the mirror. You travel diagonally 1.5 diagonal squares to reach y=-x and then continue another 1.5 diagonals to reach (-1,-2) which is your answer.
