Mr Garcia has 15 boys and 10 girls in his math class. He selects two students at random to demonstrate how they solved the day’s challenge assignment. What is the probability that both students are girls?

Answer:

15% or 3/20

Explanation:

25 in class and 10 are girls so probability of first choice being a girl is 10/25.

Then for the second pick there are 24 students and 9 are girls so the probability is 9/24. You multiply 10/25 by 9/24 to get your answer.
