Answer:

Based on the graph, the bird is initially flying from a certain height and not the ground(A). It flies from a certain height to reach a higher altitude and then flies steadily without changing it's altitude until reaches a certain point(B). The bird is perhaps at rest and not moving before it starts to descent down to the ground. The altitude decreases over time at C.
