C(x) = 3x2 + 80x. Find the number of books read by him when x = 4 years.

Let x = 4 and fo the math.

C(4) = 3(4)^2 + 80(4)

C(4) = 3(16) + 320

C(4) = 48 + 320

C(4) = 368

He read 368 books.

Explanation:

All you do is substitute in the number inside the equation. if the equation is 3x^2+80x then x=4

3*(4*4)+80*4

3*16+320

48+320

368

So the number of books he read is 368 books.
