Answer:

x=2 y=0

Explanation:

solve for y

x+2y=2

x=2-2y

2(2-2y)+5y

4-4y+5y=4

4+y=4

y=0

plug into equation

2x+5(0)=4

x=2

and

x+2(0)=2

x=2

Answer:

(2,0)

Explanation:

2 (x + 2y) = (2)

2x + 4y = 4

- 2x + 5y = 4

-1y = 0

y = 0

2x + 5(0) = 4

2x = 4

x = 2
