Explanation:

Complementary angles add to 90 degrees

A+B =90

5x+22 + 10x+8 = 90

Combine like terms

15x + 30 = 90

Subtract 90 from each side

15x +30-30 = 90-30

15x = 60

Divide by 15

15x/15 = 60/15

x =4

B = 10x+8

=10*4+8

= 40+8

= 49
