When he rolled it along its breadth, 20 is equal to circumference i.e.

20 = 2πr

r is radius of base of cylinder

r = 3.18 cm

44 cm will be height of the cylinder.

The volume of the cylinder is given by :


V=\pi r^2 h\\\\V=(22)/(7)* (3.18)^2 * 44\\\\V=1398.4\ cm^3

So, the volume of the cylinder is
1398.4\ cm^3.
