5x = 95
5x − 5 = 95 − 5
x = 90

Answer: she is NOT correct the answer should be X= 19

How?:

the equation was 5x = 95

the 5 and x is being multiplied the opposite of multiplication is dividing

so 95/5= 19

therefor x= 19 and NOT 90
