Explanation:

Firstly, since it is a parallelogram, we know that △ACD ≅ △ABC. This means that y = 21°. It's been too long since I have done geometry so I do not remember the exact rule, but I'm sure it's something like the bisection of angles for parallelogram diagonals etc.

We also know that all the angles of a triangle must add up to 180°, so:

41° + 21° + x = 180°

x = 180° - 41° - 21°

x = 118°
