The length of a rectangle is 3 meters greater than 2 times the width. The perimeter of the rectangle is 30 meters. What is the length?

Explanation:

Perimeter= 2( length+ width)

l= w+ 3

perimeter= 2(w+3+w)

30= 4w +6

4w= 24

w= 6

width = 6m

length = 6+3 = 9 m
