Explanation:

1. Find the retail price of each store by multiplying the normal price by% discount to get a discount - and then opt out.

store A: 24.95 * 20% (or 0.20) = 4.99 (discount)

24.95 - 4.99 = 19.96 (sale price)

store B: 25.80 * 25% (or 0.25) = 6.45 (discount)

25.80 - 6.45 = 19.35

To find the sale price difference, subtract 19.96 - 19.35 = 0.61
