Give three real-world examples of rectangular prisms. Then give two real-world examples of triangular prisms. Explain how you know the object you chose represents a prism.

What I wrote: Some examples of rectangular prisms are a fridge, a microwave, and a box of cereal. A couple of examples of triangular prisms in the real world are a slice of Swiss cheese and a door wedge. I can tell they are prisms because for the rectangular prism real-world objects they have six rectangular faces and are a three-dimensional figure. Also, for the triangular figures in the real world, I notice that they have two triangular faces and three rectangular faces.

I got it right, but if you want the sample response instead it is Boxes, ice cubes, and a brick are examples of rectangular prisms. Ramps and tents are examples of triangular prisms. A rectangular prism has six rectangular faces. A triangular prism has two triangular faces and three rectangular faces.
