Explanation:

y = y coordinate

m = slope (rise/run, up/over, change in y/change in x)

x = x coordinate

b = y intercept (where the line crosses the y-axis.

1. Write the equation y = mx + b

2. Substitute the numbers in the proper place. y = 3/1 x + 4
