x = -4

Explanation:

First, the pharenthesis: 8x-3 = 5*2x+5*1

8x -3 =10x+5

then take all the Number with x to the left, the ones without to the right, by changing their sign.

8x -10x = 5 +3

-2x = 8

now divide by -2

-2x/-2=8/-2

x=-4
