Answer:

Lorenzo will need 3 days to jar up 12 litres of jam (if you are from America, spell the word litre like this - liter)

Explanation:

We start off with 6 litres of jam on the first day, plus another 2 litres, because the first day has passed.

6 + 2 = 8

This leaves us with 8 litres on day 1.

On day 2, we still have 8 litres, and have to add on 2 litres.

8 + 2 = 10

This leaves us with 10 litres on day 2.

On day 3, we still have 10 litres, and have to add on 2 litres.

10 + 2 = 12

STOP! The question asked for the amount of days Lorenzo needs to fill up 12 litres of jam. we have now reached 12 litres and we are at day 3. TA DAAAAAA! You have reached the end! Happy learning!
