y=a(x+2)(x-5)

y=a(x²-5x+2x+10)

y=a(x²-3x -10)

2) Examining the options, we can see that all of those options have a=1

Then we can plug into that

y=a(x²-3x -10)

y=x² -3x -10

That's the same as

y=(x+2)(x-5) then its roots are x_1 =-2 , and x_2=5
