Do you think King George was right to put these taxes on the colonists? Why or why not? EXPLAIN!!

I think King George was correct in putting these taxes on the colonists for multiple reasons. First, the King needed money to pay for the wars that England had been fighting. All of England had to contribute, and as a colonie of England, America was no exception. As to address the 'No Taxation Without Representation', even if the colonies were represented, I think America would have still ended up paying taxes to the King.

I don't think the King George was right to put high taxes on the colonists because the colonists didn't want to pay that because they felt that the government wasn't supporting them enough so they felt the need to fight pay against it.
