-2x -4y = -10

-7x -4y = -15

Answer:

x=1,y=2

-2x-4y= -10 maltiple by -1 then 2x +4y

-7x-4y= -15

therfore 2x+4y=10

-7x-4y=-15 to find x or y you must zero one of them

ther fore 4y-4y=0

then 2x+(-7x)= -5x

-5x=10 +(-15) =-5

-5x = -5

divide by -5 both side,

x =1

to get the value of y the value of x supersed in to equation

-2(1) -4y = -10

-4y =-10 +2

-4y = -8 both dived by -4

y=2
