Therefore, by Pythagoras theorem:


PQ=√(4^2 +4^2)


PQ=√(2*4^2)

Area of square PQRS
=PQ^2

Area of square PQRS
=(4√(2)) ^2

Area of square PQRS
= 32\: cm^2
