what are the possible rational zeros for this?

x = 0,

Explanation:

We have our equation 3
x^(3) -
x^(2) - 2x.

We can factor out an x like this: x(3
x^(2) - x - 2)

From here, it is easy to see that: x(3x + 2)(x - 1)

Now, we just set our equation to 0 like this: 0 = x(3x + 2)(x - 1)

So,

  • x = 0
  • 3x - 2 = 0 ⇒ 3x = 2 ⇒ x =
    (2)/(3)
  • x - 1 = 0 ⇒ x = 1
