Answer:

1 7/12

Explanation:

1.
4(1)/(3) -2(\\3)/(4)

2. make the fractions to an improper fractions which would be
(13)/(3) and (11)/(4)

3. Multiply the top and bottom of this
(13)/(3) by 4.

4. Multiply the top and bottom of this
(11)/(4) by 3.

5. You should get

6. Subtract them and you should get

7. Reduce your answer to

Hope this helps. :)

First you need to make the fractions denominators equal. So you will multiply 1/3 by 4 and 3/4 by 3, leaving you with 4 4/12 - 2 9/12. Simply leaving you with 1 7/12
