Answer:

Y = 3x-13

Explanation:

y= mx+b

4 = x and -1 =y

(4,-1)= (x,y)

m=3= slope

y=mx+b

-1=3(4)+b

-1=12+b

you subtract 12 on both sides

b = -13

Y = 3x-13

Answer:

y + 1 = 3(x - 4)

Explanation:

slope formula is (y - y1) = m (x - x1)

so plug in the information and you get

(y - (-1)) = 3 (x - (4))
