Energy drink have a negative effect on our bodies, as it’s high in sugars and caffeine which is harmful to teens. Which may cause anxiety, sleep problems, increased heart rate and much more. Most energy drinks, have more caffeine that sodas and coffee which it would just be a better option to drink coffee or sugary drinks like sprite instead. For example many teens have been drinking monster lately, which has 160mg of caffeine while coffee has 95mg. They may have a few positive affects, like B Vitamins that converts food into energy but all the negative side effects cancel out the positives. In the end it’s much healthier to get a good nights rest or drink a cup off coffee instead of drinking energy drinks.
