Explanation:

First we need to turn one of those into a fraction or decimal to make things easier for us. Lets turn
1 (1)/(5) into a decimal.

1 1/5 as a decimal is 1.2.

Now we compare the two


1.5 > 1.2

Now we need to subtract 1.5 by 1.2 to see how much more he jumps by.


1.5 - 1.2 = 0.3

Steve jumps more by 0.3 meters.
