In my fourth-grade year, we had a book club. We met in the library every Tuesday after school. We each got a list of books that we must read to get into the bluebonnets. The goal that my librarian gave us was five books to read before the competition. There were twenty books on the list. My goal was to read all twenty books. Some of the books were audiobooks. So, I would fall asleep listening to a man or women read the book. And every weekend I would stay up and read or finish my book. A couple of months passed, and we had to compete to see who would make the team and who would not. On the day of the, my mom, dad, and brother went to see me compete We each had to compete in teams. So, my team and I work hard and help each other out. Then, the host announced who won. And the team who won was us. We had the most points. I was so happy to know that we won. Weeks after that, we started taking the club seriously. One thing I remember was that we got a day of school off to go to the library and read. But to be honest most of the time we did not read. We played around a lot, joke around too. So, a few days pass, and competition came. All of us had matching t-shirts. And we all had eaten before we got onto the bus. I was a little nervous on the bus because we had to compete against twenty-six schools. That day my mom got to see my team, and I compete. We had to answer questions about the books that we read. Each school got a remote. The remote was to put in the answer that we got. We were doing good each round a school would get eliminated. We were in the top five schools when another school got eliminated. In the top four schools, we had tried our best
