Explanation:

3 ( m - 4 ) = 33

Solve for m

3 ( m - 4 ) = 33

Divide both side by 3


\small \sf (3(m-4))/(3) = (33)/(3) \\

m - 4 = 11

Add 4 to both side

m - 4 + 4 = 11 + 4

m = 15

Answer:

3m-12=33

3m=45

m=15

Check:

3(15-4)=33

3(11)=33

33=33
