5/24 is the correct answer. You would subtract Terri’s miles by simons miles and get that

5/24 mile
Find the common denominator of 24 and adjust the fractions
7/8 x 3/3 = 21/24
4/5 x 4/4 = 16/24
Find the difference 21/24-16/24=5/24
