The Constitution claims that "all men are created equal," but it did not abolish slavery and allowed it to continue. Why?

A. No one cared about Enslaved People
B. "We're afraid what would happen if we let them go."

C is the answer, southern plantation owners used slaves to do free labor, by removing them they would have to hire a worker and lose money, so they did not support freeing the slaves.
