40 =
(1)/(2) (QT - RS) =
(1)/(2) (140 - x) ← multiply both sides by 2 to clear the fraction

80 = 140 - x ( subtract 140 from both sides )

- 60 = - x ( multiply both sides by - 1 )

60 = x

That is arc PS = 60°
