B) You need 104 square meters to paint the pool.

Assuming the pool is a rectangular prism, use the surface area equation:

SA = wl + 2(hl) + 2(hw)

Note: Do not include times 2 for wl because we are only including the bottom of the pool.

l = 8 meters

w = 6 meters

h = 2 meters

SA = (6)(8) + 2((2)(8)) + 2((2)(6))

SA = 104 square meters

C) The paint with cost $624 total. $104 times 6 square meters equals $624
