Georgia was a huge help towards WW1. ... Georgia had a textile mills that made fabric for military uniforms. Railroads in Georgia carried arms, ammunition, and soldiers to parts where ships waited to sail to Europe. Georgia's farmers grew food crops, grew tobacco, grew vegetables, and carried livestock, etc.
