Read the passage about a soccer game.

I knew it wasn’t going to be a good game the minute I ran out onto the field. I slipped on the wet grass and landed on my back.

Our opponents scored three goals in the first half, but we only scored one. I know we were down because of the weather. How are you supposed to play soccer when it’s raining like you’re in the middle of a hurricane?

The second half was even worse. I was relieved when the referee blew the final whistle.

“Good game, Morgan,” my dad said, slapping me on the back.

“Yeah, right,” I moaned. “That wasn’t a game. It was a disaster!”

Which sentence in the passage BEST shows the narrator’s point of view?
A. “I slipped on the wet grass and landed on my back.”
B. “Our opponents scored three goals in the first half, but we only scored one.”
C. “How are you supposed to play soccer when it’s raining like you’re in the middle of a hurricane?”
D. “‘Good game, Morgan,’ my dad said, slapping me on the back.”
