Answer:

x = 45°

Explanation:

This is an isosceles triangle. There is a 90° angle. The other two angles (x) have to be the same as they are both called x.

The sum of all the angles in a triangle is 180°. You already have a 90° angle.

180° - 90° = 90°.

90° ÷ 2 = 45°

(You divide it by 2 because there are 2 x's)

Another way:

You know this is an isosceles triangle, so the angles have to be 45°-45°-90°.

Answer:

x = 45

Explanation:

The sum of the angles of a triangle are 180

x+x+ 90 = 180

2x+90 =180

Subtract 90 from each side

2x +90-90 =180-90

2x= 90

Divide each side by 2

2x/2 =90/2

x = 45
