A right triangle is shown with a leg that measures 15 and a hypotenuse that measures 17. Find the length of the missing side. The triangle is not drawn to scale.

Explanation:

As its a right angle triangle, we use trigonometry.

Let the length of missing side be x

x = \sqrt{({17}^(2) }-{15}^(2)) \\ x = √(289 - 22) \\ x = √(64) \\ x = 8

The hypotenuse(17) is the longest side of a right-angle triangle so the other value(15) is minused from it .

Hope I was able to help:)))
