Explanation:

t = time

d = distance

To see if the mouse's distance is proportional to the time, you divide the distance with the time:


t_(3) = 4


d_(3) = 44

44 / 4 = 11


t_(4) = 6


d_(4) = 66

66 / 6 = 11 (the same as with 44 / 4. This means that the mouse distance and time is proportional)

Every second the mouse travels 11 feet.

And every other second the mouse travels 22 feet. (since (1, 11)*2 = (2, 22))
