Do you think Macbeth would have become King if he did not kill Duncan? Why?

yes because the witches had told him he would become king

No because he won’t have become king if he didn’t kill King Ducan as he was the reigning monarchy, thus causing his sons to flee as they would be accused of treason. Then after King Duncan’s family the throne would be passed to Banquo’s descendants as they were next in line, however, Macbeth tried to end their family tree by killing Banquo and attempting to kill his sons.
