Annie J. Easley was an American computer scientist, mathematician, and rocket scientist.Easley worked for the Lewis Research Center for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. She worked on batteries, including studies on battery-powered vehicles similar to modern hybrid cars. Easley's work with the Centaur project helped lay the technological foundations for future space shuttle launches and launches of communication, military and weather satellites.Her 34-year career has impeccably contributed to the field of science and engineering.
