if y =mx +b then b is -2 because you’re given the points; (-2,4) and (6,b) which means that you have to solve for x1-x2/y1-y2 which will get you to -2-6/4-b which is -8/4-b and then you would want to isolate b to find the answer which means you would have to multiply both sides by -b and -8/4=-2 so that’s the answer
