"I feel somehow enormously disappointed. I had expected--I don't know what I had expected, but not this." These were the last words of Mr. Bedford in Chapter Six. After finally having landed on the moon, his excitement is extinguished as he realizes he can’t see anything through the glass of the sphere. Write about a time when you were looking forward to going somewhere, but felt disappointed with what you saw and experienced when you arrived. Relate your experience to Mr. Bedford’s.

Answer:

I once felt disappointed when I was excited to go somewhere. When my family went to Japan 2 years ago, we went to a drive-in zoo. It was very fun at first because we got to drive past all the animals and see Zebra's :) The only problem was, my family and friends said that we would go to the house of cats in the park. It was a mini cottage house that had different cats from around the world and you could pet and make friends with them. Well when the time came, my family didn't know Japanese and so they were confused on the required age and how much it would cost to go to the house of cats. When we left I felt very disappointed because I was so excited to pet cats!

Step-by-step explanation:

You probably can't use this, since I doubt you would be able to convince your teacher that you went to Japan. But I do hope that it inspires your story and helps give you the layout of how you could explain your own experience.

Have a meowgical day!

One time when I were looking forward to going somewhere, but when I got there I felt disappointed with what I experienced when I arrived. Me and my family went to a waterpark, we got free tickets to go there so we did. It was in Marietta and when we got there it was pretty cool at first. It had a lazy river, 2 big sides, and a play thing for little kids and a bridge over the pool. You had to be tall enough for the slides, the food was expensive, my little brother could only go on the lazy river and the little kids play place. He wanted to go on the big slides and cried the whole time, so we had to go home.

Step-by-step explanation:

here you go

you don't have to use it if you don't want to
