the 2 and 1 only indentify which coordinate youre using

lets say that (2,5) is 1 and (-5,5) is 2

now we plug in the x and ys


(5-5)/(-5-2) =
(0)/(-7)

anything with a slope with 0 in the numerator is a slope of zero. The line is horizontal (you can tell because both y are the same number)
