What is the slope m of the line passing through the points (2,5), (-5,5)

The slope is 0. The line is horizontal.

Explanation:

To find the slope of a line with two points you use the equation (y2 - y1)/(x2-x1)

the 2 and 1 only indentify which coordinate youre using

lets say that (2,5) is 1 and (-5,5) is 2

now we plug in the x and ys


(5-5)/(-5-2) =
(0)/(-7)

anything with a slope with 0 in the numerator is a slope of zero. The line is horizontal (you can tell because both y are the same number)
