Answer:

No, Stella is not correct. Petrol is sold at the same price both in Greece and Scotland.

Explanation:

Stella in Greece

1 euro = Є 0.86

56 euros = ?

56 x 0.86 = Є 48.16

4.5 L = 1 gallons

27 L = ?

27/4.5 - 6 gallons

Є 48.16 for 6 gallons of petrol.

so 1 gallon of petrol = 48.16/6 = Є' 8

Izzy in Scotland

1 gallon of petrol = 64/8 = Є8

So No, Stella is not correct as petrol is sold at the same price in both places Greece and Scotland.
