When reading fiction, you're probably focused on finding out what happens in the story and how it ends. When you read a work of fiction for a literature class, however, you need to go beyond the first surface reading. What is your approach to reading literature for a class?

Answer:

In my opinion

perspective and pre reading , discussion

Step-by-step explanation:

literature is not only about the surface or the direct storyline sometimes before reading any literature art knowing about author background helps a lot we will be able to start reading or have few concept how the author wrote it and what the hidden emotions does that story have

perspective is yours prescriptive by knowing author background helps you to have idea about author perspective but while reading any kind of literature your perspective have a significant impact because sometimes writer wrote in such way where you have to use your common sense and analyze the situation . and in fiction genere books there nothing right and wrong because it's there imagination building perspective helps you a lot while reading
