-For the slope (number with x behind it), we use the formula rise/run. Meaning how high over how far. So we find two exact points on the graph which are typically marked with dots, and we see how far high they go up (for this graph 2) and divide that by how far it travels (5).

-And for the last number (6) this is where the graph crosses the y axis, this is called the y intercept, so where x=0, this will be the only number to cross the vertical line, for this graph 6.
