Is leave a long e in grammar?

Answer: No.

Explanation: When you speak the word, doesn't it cut out quite shortly? Like for an example you say "cheer", or "dear" the "e" in those sentences are long. But "Leave" is short.

Answer: Yes

Explanation: You can hear a long "e" in leave.
