5x = 25
Divide both sides by 5
5x/5 = 25/5 <——
Your answer is ——> x = 5
Because the 5x/5 will cancel out and your left with x and then 25/5 is 5 so you have x=5

To solve for this problem, divide both side by 5. you want x by itself.
5x/5 = 25/5
x=5
