Answer:

f(g(x))= 3x+9

Explanation:

f(g(x)) means that you need to take the function g and plug that function into f for x. So g(x) which is x+4 will be plugged into f(x)=3x-3.

So what you get is 3(x+4)-3

If you distribute the positive three, you will get 3x+12-3 and your answer will be 3x+9.

f(g(x)) can also be written as (fog)(x)

fog just means f composite g or f of g of x

For g(f(x)), it will be the same concept as above. However, this time you will be plugging in f(x) into g(x) and I will let you do g(f(x))
