Anna has 3 times more tissues than Peter. If Anna would get 3 more tissues, she would have 100. How many tissue has Anna got, and how many Peter

according to question, anna has 3 times more tissues than peter ,means it can be represented as

x=3y....(consider it as equation 1)

furtherly it also stated in question that if anna get 3 more tissues she would have 100.

this means it can be written as x+3=100( consider it as equation 2)

from equation 1 and 2 we can substitute the value of x in equation 2

3y+3=100

3y=97

y=32.333(round it to nearest whole number ) which is 32

so we got value of y as 32

substitute this y value in equation 1

x=3y

x=3*32

x=96

so anna has 96 tissues and peter has 32 tissues
