Gabby puts a bottle of lemonade in the freezer. When she removes the lemonade, she notices

that it has started to freeze. She wonders what factors affect how quickly a liquid freezes. So,
she decides to design an experiment. She has the following supplies available:
. water
• lemonade
• two 12-ounce bottles
• a 12-ounce ice cube tray
• a freezer
• a stopwatch
Using only these supplies, which two questions can Gabby investigate with an experiment?
A. Will 12 ounces of lemonade and 12 ounces of water both freeze if left in a
bottle in the freezer for one hour?
B. Will 12 ounces of fresh water and 12 ounces of salt water both freeze if
left in a bottle in the freezer overnight?
C. Will 12 ounces of water in a bottle and 12 ounces of water in a bag both
freeze if left in the freezer for three hours?
D. Will 12 ounces of water freeze more quickly in an ice cube tray or in a
bottle?

Question A and D go with the problem. The problem does not mention having salt or a bag in the supplies list which means those questions won’t be answered in the experiment.
