4x^2 + 18x^2 - 10x

Explanation:

c(x)=4x−2 and d(x)=x^2+5x

(c⋅d)(x) = (4x−2) *( x^2+5x)

FOILing

First : 4x*x^2 = 4x^3

Outer: 4x*5x = 20x^2

Inner: -2 *x^2 = -2x^2

Last: -2 *5x = -10x

Combine the terms.

4x^2 + 18x^2 - 10x
